How can hiring a coach help you as a working mom?

The coaching services I offer can transform your entire life experience as a working mom. You’ll gain the tools and strategies to completely change the way you feel, how you perform at work, and how you interact with your family and friends.

Working with me one-on-one is a safe, supportive, and encouraging experience.

  • In a single coaching session, you’ll feel more empowered to make personal and professional decisions that align with your values, priorities and goals.
  • After multiple coaching sessions, you’ll begin to step into the next version of yourself as a working mom that you’ve always wanted to be.
  • Once our coaching relationship is complete, it’s quite possible that you’ll look and feel unrecognizable to those who knew you before this work — but you’ll feel more like yourself and who you knew you were meant to be than you ever have before.

The coaching philosophy I use with all of my clients is called “causal coaching,” which focuses finding the root cause of any challenge you’re navigating, so that we can understand it, make changes, and solve it.

All coaching is done virtually, so we meet one-on-one via Zoom, and we talk about about any personal or professional challenge that you are navigating. Some clients have a specific goal set at the onset of our coaching, and each coaching session is in service of progress toward that goal. Other clients have several goals or simply want to feel better as a working mom, and each coaching session is designed to address what is most pressing in the moment so that clients can feel instant relief and feel equipped to confidently navigate the week ahead.
Each individual coaching session will place a 60-minute hold on your calendar, but if you have back-to-back meetings or simply need some breathing room in your day, we often aim to conclude after 50-55 minutes.

You get to select the frequency of our coaching sessions to meet your availability and urgency. Many clients prefer a weekly cadence at preset day and time so that coaching becomes a nonnegotiable part of self-development and self-care. Other clients prefer a bi-weekly or periodic cadence as a way to work around meetings, personal commitments, or travel. Based on what you share in our consultation session, I’ll make a recommendation about frequency, but the decision is always yours, and I will always do my best to align my calendar to match your availability.
I take client/coach confidentiality very seriously, and I strictly adhere to the Code of Ethics set forth by the International Coaching Federation. If your employer is paying for all or part of your coaching, we will determine upfront what will or will not be shared back with your employer, and we will ensure clear agreement across all parties before coaching begins. In most cases, an employer will either not require that any information be shared back (to respect your privacy), or your employer will simply want to know the dates of any completed coaching sessions (to confirm progress).
Many of my coaching clients have worked with a therapist or are currently working with a therapist, and adding a coach to your own personal support team alongside your therapist is often a perfect combination.

Although every person’s experience is different, therapy is most commonly used as a way to explore your past and better understand how it’s impacted who you are today. Therapy is also often used to help you heal, like a physical therapist helps you to heal an injury. Coaching is most commonly used as a way to explore where you want to go in the future, acknowledge where you are now, and set a path forward to help you achieve your goals. Coaching helps you to transform into the person you want to become, like a running coach helps you to train for a race.
The investment you’ll make in coaching will vary based on the number of sessions you are interested in purchasing. We’ll cover pricing in our consultation call, and I’ll always do my best to work within your budget.
